The Asian-Australian Leadership Summit (AALS) is a two-day national summit convened to address the under-representation of Asian-Australians in senior leadership positions across our community, institutions and to elevate the issue on the public agenda.
Convened in partnership with the Australian National University and PwC Australia, the AALS aims to explore the important role our Asian-Australian community can play in Australia’s future, including our engagement with Asia. The Summit will have a sharply focused, practical agenda aimed at both energizing and implementing a new national commitment to both recognize and break through the “bamboo ceiling” and celebrating Asian-Australian leadership.
The Summit will be held in Melbourne on September 12-13. In addition to the main Summit held on Friday 13 September, we have an interactive NextGen event for young Asian-Australians on Thursday 12 September, a day that will culminate in the announcement of the “40 Under 40: Most Influential Asian-Australians” Awards.
