Now in its second year, 4A A4 (6-9 Nov) is a unique fundraising exhibition at Sydney’s 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art featuring renowned international artists alongside local Australian artists who have risen to the challenge to make an artwork that’s A4-sized – all in support of non-profit 4A.
The inaugural 4A A4 raised over $25,000 in 24 hours. This year’s edition promises to be even more exhilarating, featuring works by leading contemporary artists including Abdul-Rahman Abdullah, Gary Deirmendjian, Song Dong, Fan Dongwang, Song Ling, Roslisham Ismail aka ISE, Shen Jiawei, Jumaadi, Peter Nelson, Khaled Sabsabi, Shen Shaomin, Vipoo Srivilasa, Phaptawan Suwannakudt, Ken + Julia Yonetani, Guan Wei and many more.
Presented in a salon-style exhibition all 4A A4 works will be available for sale for a fixed price of AUD $200 each. The only catch is that all 4A A4 artworks will be sold anonymously, with the names of artists announced only once the works are sold.
4A A4 opens on Thursday 6 November. Early birds can get into the preview at 5.30pm with a 4A Membership before the general launch from 6.30pm – 8pm
Submissions for 4A A4 are still open and close Friday 31 October 2014, 5pm. For more information visit: www.4a.com.au/4a-a4-2014/
