SYMPOSIUM – Cultural Diplomacy: Beyond the National Interest?

The Institute for Culture and Society at the University of Western Sydney cordially invites you to attend the Cultural Diplomacy: Beyond the National Interest? symposium on October 17 and 18.
The symposium brings together a varied group of academics and cultural professionals to discuss the issues of cultural diplomacy in the context of the Asia Pacific region. Convened by Professor Ien Ang (ICS) and Professor Yudhishthir Raj Isar (ICS/American University of Paris), the symposium format will encourage lively discussion and exchange, and avoid the usual mode of monologic papers.

The book is to be launched by Maxine McKew Vice Chancellor’s Fellow, Australia India Institute, University of Melbourne and introduced by Hanya Stefaniuk OAM.
